Visit the project website nedipa.eu and find there our final results: the Difficult Heritage Remembrance Framework (an online guideline with case studies, terminology and best practices) and Multimedia Library (a resource center with thematic short videos).
In May 2022, we launched a NeDiPa project: Negotiating Difficult Pasts, which we are implementing together with our partners Fundacja Zapomniane from Warsaw and FestivALT from Krakow thanks to funds from the European Union (CERV – the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme).
The NeDiPa project aimed to develop a systematic approach to the difficult heritage of the Holocaust in Central and Eastern Europe. Over the period of two years, 2022-2024 we organized 29 events – trainings, conferences, commemorations, consultation meetings, artistic initiatives – during which we were gathering and consulting with experts and practicioners knowlegde and ideas in order to develop the DIFFICULT HERITAGE REMEMBRANCE FRAMEWORK, which is now available in English and Polsih and includes guidelines and recommendations for various groups of recipients and a toolkit for local activists.
In our activities we involved organizations, people and initiatives in the area of remembrance and care for the Jewish heritage in Poland. In our tasks and activities we followed the Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy.
We invite you to read and watch the materials we prepared as a result of the project: DHRF guideline and Multimedia Library. We hope you find it useful.
